I went to watch the live broadcast of Million Dollar Drop on Monday.
It was the last day for filming for the show.
It was my first time watching a live filming and it was super exciting!
The host of the programme is George Young,
who is also the host of okto's art bites!
He is super fluent(I hope that I can as fluent as him)
and his accent is so cool.
The set is so elaborate and intricate with the lighting and all.
I got to learn that filming takes a long time
and that it is so tiring to clap on cue.
But it was a superb experience and George Young is super cool!

Hello!
It is 2011!
It has been such a long long time since I have updated.
So I will do a rough summary of my 2010 December.
I have been working at a pathetic place earning pathetic pay.
I have celebrated Christmas with my family
at the Swissotel which is quite ironic
since I had my Prom there exactly a month ago.
Erm.. no 2011 countdown just stayed home.
Ok that marks the end of my 2010.

For January 2011.
I went out with Jiaqi yesterday walking around town.
She is still as lively as ever and we took lots of photos(:
I found out many new and happening things about her
from our time together catching up yesterday.
She got her phone fixed and a new hair cut.
We ate at the Handburger at 313@Somerset which was cool!
It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be,
the food was great and ambiance fantastic unlike fun food restaurants.
She got to see my embarrassing eating habit and
I got to know that she often gets her numbers wrong like $23 and $13.
Overall it was great fun catching up and I hope to see more of her.
I will be posting photos that she took in my next post.

This monday was prom,WWSS Aurora Ball 2010.
It was held at the Swissotel @ Merchant Court.
I woke up 7am in the morning, went to Tonglin house to get ready.
We did our make-up and hair at a salon together along with Shuyan and Shuyun.
Then we took a cab there.
When we arrived many were there waiting to get into the ballroom.
The food and service at the hotel was good.
The table games were fun(:
The photo-taking sessions were tiring yet all so important.
It symbolises the near end of our secondary life, and I don't want to let it go yet.
I will miss all the fun time and beautiful memories at WWSS.
I felt that the beautiful outfit we wore on that day was just to leave an equally beautiful memory for all of us to each other.
The only regret I have on that day was that I didn't take more photos ):

Hello.
Today was my farewell assembly,
saying goodbye is definitely not easy
but we are going to embark on a new journey.
I didn't cry today but I was touched but the effort of the videos.
I got to take lots of photos with everyone.
And the class video turn out well and the other class videos was hilarious.
The event started out kind of sad
but soon picked up pace as the videos were played,
making me laugh till my jaw hurt. :D

Wow! It has been such a long time.
I have been preparing for O levels these days,
everybody in class is stressed out and super busy.
I came back to update for the month of September.
I did the following:
Went to Kepei House for her birthday
Celebrated my brother's birthday as well
Did filming for farewell assembly
Rebond my hair

For today,I will be celebrating my Dad's birthday.

In another 2 days,
It will be my 'Graduation' or rather officially bidding Westwood farewell

No H1N1 so we got to see the performance live.
In Sec 4 so could go up to the gallery to watch and wear class tee.
And this year everyone went all out with mini skirts and high heels.

Yesterday went to Novena with Evelyn.
We ate at 3 Inch Sin
at Cluny Court.
It was a treacherous trip down there.
We got to eat their famous Molten lava cake.
We got the 3 mini ones, Peanut, Original and Hazelnut.
We both found that the Peanut one was the best.
We also got the fondue and iced chocolate.
The chocolate was really rich so,
Evelyn got kinda sick of it rather fast.
I who is a self proclaim mega chocolate lover,
got sick once I reach half of the fondue.
The chocolate is slightly bitter and sweet which is really good
but too much good thing is a bad thing.
We went back to Novena and walk around Square 2.
It is a first for me there, all the stores were selling korean stuff.
We bought a pair of korean chopstick each.
I bought a korean jjang instant noodle
which I tried today and taste great.
We went back to jp and ate at pepper lunch
which was a treat from Evelyn for my birthday meal in advance.

Today was 'O' level mother tongue oral for me.
I totally got a nervous break down.
I was a total nerve-wreak.
I didn't know how to read 4 words so I guessed 2 and skipped 2.
When she asked what else I had to say,
I rushed through and was babbling rubbish.
And last but not least to finish off my complete disaster,
I left my wallet under the examiner's table
and had to go back in to get it.
T^T What else is there to say.

Today went to town with my 3rd Aunt
313@Somerset> Orchard Central> Centrepoint
We went in search for my prom dress for my birthday present.
We ate at Orchard Central in a Japanese restaurant ,
called Ootoya.
The food there are not bad and the ambience is nice too.
I got 2 blue dresses(F21)while my aunt bought quite a fair bit.
Tomorrow is Chinese 'O' level oral, hope for the best(:

8 weeks and counting to prelims.
A week has passed yet again,
there never seems to be enough time.

I can't seem to change my thinking into chinese!
I am so nervous right now as time slip pass my fingers
but I can't seem to get into exam mode.
So to relieve my nervousness ...
I am going to go shopping with my aunt on Monday(:

Unfortunately it is once again the end of June
the end of the June "Holiday".
Although it wasn't much of a holiday,
I would miss waking up late in the day.
I would miss sleeping late in the night.
I would miss being lazy-
watching television and playing the computer most of the time

What I would miss most is that there are no tests or what so ever.
But I look forward to spending more time with my classmates.

Today went to Bugis,
with Minzhen and Evelyn.
At first,I thought I wasn't going to buy anything
but I bought a blue bag for $12 and a blue dress for $10.
I am not really into blue but oh well, that is that.
We ate lunch together at yoshinoya.
Then we went back to Jurong Point to shop a little more.
Left at around 19 40 and bought dinner there.
It was a long time since I went shopping at bugis.
Hope to save up more and go again soon(:

Today went to Clementi to meet Jiaqi, oh wait is Jacquelyn;
(I still can't call her Jacquelyn cause I am used to calling her Jiaqi)
because I bought a Romper from her and it is a nice piece.
She was my classmate in primary school, and still is my best friend.
At first, I couldn't recognise her.
Even though I saw so many of her recent photos.
It has been a long time since we met up and chat,
but with the upcoming O levels I doubt we can meet up once more this year.
We went for lunch together at a Japanese eatery called Sumo house,
the food there is rather cheap.
We talked about school and classmates,
it was so fun that I didn't want it to end.
But all things come to an end, so...
hope that we can go out again sometime soon.

Yesterday is finally the "last day of school"
last thursday went to eat KFC
with Haikal, Jiayun and Wanni.
We found out Haikal changed his course
from Design to Nursing
I still cannot believe it,
but I guess it is a great way to see pretty girls(:

Yesterday I went to the library to return my books
and I found some great books.
I found one which the title was really interesting,
so I got a closer look
it was titled Living Dead Girl.
It is written by Elizabeth Scott
whom I read one of her books title Bloom not long ago.
It was portrayed really well,
she could really write in the stand point of young teenage girls
which I found easy to relate too.
The story of the Living Dead Girl
is about this girl who was kidnapped at a age of 10 during a field trip.
She is aged 15 as she tells her story in the book.
This man named Ray kidnapped her and renamed her 'Alice'.
During the dark 5 years of 'Alice' life,
she was torture, raped, threaten and many more.
She became a lifeless yet living girl, she obeyed him like a robot
as she knew that she couldn't escape so she just waited.
She waited to be thrown out once he got tired of her
or to die to end her misery.
She was not the only 'Alice',
the previous 'Alice' was killed by Ray at 15
so she knew what was ahead of her but Ray assured her,
that she wouldn't end up like her as he wouldn't want to hurt her.
As days passed by,
'Alice' wondered when will she end up like the previous one.
Then one day Ray wanted her to find a child for him,
and she can teach the child what he liked.
And she was in the park looking for the right child,
she was eager to find one
so that she could finally escape from her fate,
but will she?

The part I really like was the three life lessons;
She got to learn three life lessons the hard way:
1. No one will see you.

Tada, kimi wo aishiteru

I just watched this movie yesterday at youtube
It was the best movie ever!!!
It was incredibly, there were many wonderful shots.
The main female lead was cute and funny,
and the male lead handsome and caring.
However this movie is definitely not for the 'faint-hearted'
if you cannot handle tragedy well then don't watch it(:
or watch the first 9 episode.
Like a sentence the female lead said
"You make people really happy,
then sends them straight down to the Bottom of Hell."
It can also be applied in the movie-
the beginning was sweet and funny then it turn for the worst.
I didn't know it was a tragic ending at first
thus I am now warning ppl that it is really touching
I cried 2 whole packets of tissue.

to kbox at Jurong Safra.
The rooms were really cool,
the touch screen catalogue was extremely cool
cause it the first time I am using it.
Sang alot,
and because it was a weekday it was cheaper(:
Ate their klunch which was ok.
Then one of the song I picked "wo ai ta" by ding dang,
Huijia went to increase the pitch which made it so hard for me to sing
they were just looking at me suffering ):

Today is Christmas eve
omg!!!
yesterday went to school for sec 1 regi
i found out there are much lesser ppl this year
there are also so much more male intake
but no matter
did the baby sitting room super fun
was taking care of a toddler wei ming, with Wanni and Jiayun
he is super CUTE
when you say jiejie it will repeat after you
and when you call his name he will sometimes say 'me!'
but when we play with him
he will sometimes cry for his mama and jiejie
he is quite a handful
he also like to push his "trolley"
and push it in circles until he is tired and fall on the floor
we went back early after the baby sitting
cause got nothing to do
then went shopping with Wanni
Christmas shopping at bugis
then got asked by a china lady for modelling
think that it is a scam
anyway got to buy 2 dresses, one shirt, and a pair of gladiators
Wanni got a pair of gladiators and 3 t-shirts, thats all i think

bought Jiayun a belated bday gift
went to Plaza Singapura
wanted to watch movie but dun have much
so played at the arcade
it was fun then the Haikal keep imitating me
so irritating!
then ate chocolate banana cake(:
after this outing i swear
i will never wear heels to shop
i will only wear to dinner
or anywhere that requires little walking!
oh and we ate dinner together then went back

today went shopping
with my two aunts and my cousin Kim
went to Bugis first
bought Kim's shoes
then Auntie Queenie started her shopping spree
although the outing was to shop for Kim and my Christmas present
it ended up being only Auntie Queenie buying every and anything
saw a pair of heels i really want and it is very nice
but it was 3 inch so can't really balance in it so didn't
so walked some more and ate there
then went to Bugis street
and I and Kim did a express manicure
while the aunts did more shopping
wasn't really an express
cause it took a long time to dry our nails
3/4 of the time is used to dry the nails
took a cab to Marina Square
then saw the heels i want at Charles and keith
and bought a bag there as well
the heels is 2 inch so able to walk better
then ate dinner
after which Auntie Queenie send us home

she was late so she ask me to go Pioneer station
it was my first time to Pioneer station quite cool
firstly we bought earrings
then i shopped for a dress
very nice!!!!
and a shirt
and huijia bought 2 shirts as well
great buys(:
after that ate at Mac
i ate the new chicken teppanyaki burger
it was soso and ate chocolate swirl
while Huijia ate strawberry sundae
after we went back to jp and walk a bit before going back home

Today at first planned to go Anime Festival
but cancelled
so went to catch a movie with Huijia
watched 2012
it is just like everyone said
it is a great movie
it was a long movie but to me it was rather short
lots of impact
the scenes were nerve-wreaking
i would not know what to do
if this was to happen in the future
the world coming to an end and i will be 18

Today went to Juying sec
for sort of the publicity of wwss
to other primary schools in the westzone area
first time at Juying
we were warmly welcomed by the JYIANS
they were filming us when we alighted from the bus
our group (Khairun) changed classes several times
but we set up our stuff and started eating candy
walked around and exploring a bit
i found the school pretty big and the corridors were narrow
the toilets are scary
our first p6 students came
was quite high
it was about 40 students
my group was all boys and they were PLAYFUL
but at least they were colouring(:
did filler activity's
where they gave me rude words as hang-man
and the second group came
did the exact same thing but my group was all girls
and at that time i am still high
then we had break time
ate at Emma's class we had fish cake and chicken
the chicken not bad(:
the third class came did the exact same thing
this time my group was all Malay (2gals&2guys)
and only a round 20 students came
they communicated in Malay so couldn't really help much
and they kept getting the sequence of the story wrong
after that 4th and last class
my group was all boys again
but at least they were more cooperative

is going to move up to 4h!!!
So happy
but a little upsetting when Mr Heng
suddenly asked about my results
I don't know what to say, honestly
but i will try harder next year
hopefully get a good score.
our class' International Students got the red letter
i thought i was going to get it but amazing i didn't
this friday will know whether dropping any sub
as much as i am prepared it still scares me
oh and to all sec 2s hope they get the sub combinations they want
and there are many sec 3 this year retaining
quite upsetting as well
.
Next up
today is the start of 'o'level
it didn't occur to me that the time went by fast
until Jiayun and Qinping was talking about it
Time really went by really fast
I hope the time won't go too fast next year
i am afraid of 'o'level

bought a bracelet/bangle
that can fit up my arm (finally)
not many bangles can go over my elbow
(because my arms are big T^T)

so she got the chocolate madness
i got chocolate crispy(never try before)

but at least i got 32/40 for english and chinese oral
